The history of chocolate chip cookies - part 1

Hi there everyone!

Do you know that the chocolate chip cookies was accidentally created by Ruth Wakefield (picture)? She was indeed a home-baker/restaurant owner that served delicious desserts for their diners.

However one day, they (she and her husband) was out of regular baker's chocolate for their chocolate-butter cookies. So instead she replace the baker's chocolate with some chopped Nestle bar chocolate and hoping that the chopped chocolate will melt. When the cookies were taken out of the oven, the Nestle bar did not melt! ....and ladies and gentleman the CHOCOLATE CHIP COOKIES were born that day.

Later, the traditional cookies came up to be the chocolate chip cookies as we know today. Do you that Ruth Wakefield sold the recipe to Nestle and in return she get a lifetime supplies of Nestle chocolate bar! Wooooohhhh......!
